We are proud to announce our contribution to the Spalding Flower Parade 2024.

We are proud to announce our contribution to the Spalding Flower Parade 2024.

Cannon Willianson is sponsoring float 26, called Love Actually, named after the movie.

The Spalding Flower Parade can trace its history back to the 1920s, becoming a huge event in 1935 when the tulip crop coincided with the Jubilee of King George v and Queen Mary.
During the intervening years, The Flower Parade became popular with its multiple floats, decorated with over 250,000 fresh tulip heads, and the election of a Tulip Queen, Miss Tulipland, and a Flower Queen.

The parade lasted 55 years, but due to the escalating costs the event sadly ceased in 2013, when the last parade took place.

Happily, The Spalding Flower Parade was officially revived in 2023 by Mr Stephen Timewell and a group of local enthusiasts that later grown to a community.

Cannon Williamson is warmly welcoming all its customers from close and far to this year's parade that is going to take place on Saturday 11th May 2024 with events continuing on Sunday 12th May.

Speaking about the day, Tom Willianson, Practice Principal said: “I am grateful that Mr Stephen Timewell and other local like-minded enthusiasts brought back this momentous event.
Cannon Williamson is a local, family run business and the Parade brought
back many fond memories. The Spalding Flower Parade is brilliant for the town. That is why we are truly proud to sponsor the Love Actually trailer this year.
