Semi Senior Accountant

When you join our practice, you’ll be joining a friendly team who help clients across a broad range of business sectors.
Your career progression will be at the heart of our relationship, as well as having the support of the team, you will be mentored by the practice owner/manager with regular one-to-ones and guidance on what you need to do to reach the next level.
You will not be micromanaged and will have the autonomy to make decisions independently as we work together towards clear business goals. Client interaction is actively encouraged to enable you to utilise the formal CPD that you will receive, to become an integral part of a trusted team of advisors.
We have a monthly team meeting with the opportunity to give feedback and shape the future direction of the practice and every year, we have a team away day.
You will be using the latest cloud-based technology like Xero, Dext and auto entry; along with a service-orientated approach to client care. You will have the opportunity to have a positive impact on clients’ businesses and their lives.
You will be based in the heart of the market town of Spalding, so you are spoiled for choice at lunch time. There are walks along the river Welland, the high street and the bi-weekly market are a five-minute walk away, or Springfields retail outlet is a short drive away.
Your salary will be between £25,000 and £35,000 per annum depending on experience and you’ll get 25 days plus bank holiday as annual leave.
You can park your car right next to the office for free, and we love a cup of tea or coffee, so you can have as many as you want throughout the day.

If you have at least three years of experience working in an accounting practice, preparing accounts using a balance sheet approach, you might just be the one for us. It would help if you have experience using Xero and Digita, but if you don’t we’ll make sure you’ll get trained on it as soon as you start.
